Dedicated to one of the pioneers of aviation, aircraft and helicopter designer, industrialist - Igor Ivanovich Sikorsky. While studying at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute (1907-1914), Igor Sikorsky began working on the first designs for future helicopters. He began building aircraft in 1910. The world's first multi-engine aircraft, the Grand and Ilya Muromets, were his designs. A native of Ukraine, he made a name for himself as one of the world's most famous aircraft designers.
